\n\u2022 Assign work to engineering Artisans;
\n\u2022 Perform and supervise road construction and repairs, water systems and supplies, building construction and repairs, and all civil works on the mine;
\n\u2022 Work with the design team to carry out modifications to structures;
\n\u2022 Inspects work for completeness and ensure standards according to work plan;
\n\u2022 Responsible for preventive and planned maintenance services, control of labour and the procurement ofmaterials for unscheduled and emergency work;
\n\u2022 Prepare estimates for civil works to be done in house and by contractors;
\n\u2022 Maintain effective Health and Safety systems, including completion of risk assessments and SOP\u2019s;
\n\u2022 Ensure housekeeping, productivity, and quality of work standards are maintained
\n\u2022 Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by his supervisor;<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Five (5) years civil engineering experience preferably in the mining industry;
\n\u2022 Five (5) years supervisory experience preferably in the mining industry;
\n\u2022 Problem solving and decision making skills;
\n\u2022 Ability to apply knowledge of standards, methods and procedures to work situation;
\n\u2022 Dynamic knowledge and understanding of engineering practices in the Mining environment;
\n\u2022 Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
\n\u2022 Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, database management;
\n\u2022 Medically fit for the position and environment;
\n\u2022 Valid Ghanaian Driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n
