Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0Director, Rates Trading<\/strong><\/p>\n The Role Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n Strategy<\/strong><\/p>\n -Deliver FXRC capability to clients in the footprint and the network.<\/p>\n Business<\/strong><\/p>\n -Provide accurate and timely FXRC product pricing to FM Sales staff, to meet customer needs at competitive prices<\/p>\n -Transact trades on the Bank\u2019s own account, to generate revenue and hedge risk originated in support of the client franchise<\/p>\n -Enhance SCB\u2019s name as one of the major players in the FXRC product category<\/p>\n \u2013\u00a0 \u00a0 -Work closely with Debt Capital Market and FM Sales to distribute risk originated on client transactions<\/p>\n -Work closely with the Structuring Africa team to deliver client solutions<\/p>\n -Establish and maintain a network of relationships with other SCB Financial<\/p>\n -Market Centres to maintain communication on financial market movements<\/p>\n -Monitor regulatory and market developments and provide feedback on the market and the business to sales and management<\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Processes<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n -Manage the portfolio risk generated in trading by adhering to approved GMR limits and seeking excess approvals where necessary<\/p>\n People and Talent<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong>-To work closely with the Financial Markets team cutting across product lines to deliver client solutions<\/p>\n Risk Management<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0\u2013<\/strong>Ensure that adequate and appropriate systems and controls are in place to comply with Group and\u00a0Business policies, procedures, standards and codes.<\/p>\n -Ensure operational risk management and reporting is an integral part of the business process.<\/p>\n -Monitor all major risk issues and concentrations.
