\n\u2022 Preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts, cash flows, flash revenue reports, variance reports and timeous completion and submission of them the management company
\n\u2022 Preparation of the annual budgets, strategic plans and presentation thereof to the management agent
\n\u2022 Assistance to General Manager in respect of commercial and operating decisions. These include legal matters, insurance issues, capital expenditure and all other relevant management decisions
\n\u2022 Adherence to Group financial policies and compliance with relevant regulations and legislation
\n\u2022 Overall control of property procurement functions
\n\u2022 Overall control of IT functions
\n\u2022 Managing the Hotel payroll process
\n\u2022 Keeps and safeguards the hotel\u2019s contracts and agreements
\n\u2022 Liaises with internal and external auditors in compliance with the company\u2019s requirements
\n\u2022 Provides information required for the preparation of company tax computation
\n\u2022 Assists in the preparation of the year-end statutory accounts
\n\u2022 Confidently be in a position to engage staff, key stakeholders, management agent, owners and or their representatives
\n\u2022 Any other tasks as so reasonable could be expected from such a position
\n\u2022 Assists in the renewal and the administration of insurance and insurance claims<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Minimum of 6 years working experience as a financial controller in a 4 to 5 star hotel
\n\u2022 Proven business and commercial acumen with above average financial management ability, knowledge of the hospitality and casino essential
\n\u2022 Computer literacy, which must include good working knowledge of current operating systems, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
\n\u2022 Highly developed analytical and strategic planning skills and attention to detail
\n\u2022 Excellent communication ability, development, motivate, leadership, interpersonal and conflict management skills
\n\u2022 Ability to lead a department and proactively meet service requirements of management
\n\u2022 Uncompromising integrity and ability to maintain a high level of compliance and corporate good governance
\n\u2022 Knowledge of relevant statutory legislation and laws which govern trading entities in Ghana which include if relevant but is not limited to: , Companies Act, Income Tax Act, Value Added Tax Act, Liquor Act, Labour Act
\n\u2022 Relevant qualification or extensive experience in the management of information technology which includes but is not limited to cabled LAN, wireless connectivity, server and workstation hardware, VIP payroll, Opera PMS, Opera materials control, Micros point of sales and Accpac
\n\u2022 Relevant qualification of extensive experience in the management of the procurement process<\/p>\n
