With offices in the US and Ghana, Aspire seeks to farm locally desired insects as a way to address food insecurity. In Ghana, Aspire farms the palm weevil larva, a local delicacy that has been traditionally harvested. Aspire Ghana seeks to rapidly scale its production, develop commercial products, and to advance research on the palm weevil larvae.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Administrative Assistant<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Role description<\/strong>: Aspire Food Group Ghana is looking for a driven, detail-oriented, administrative assistant to support our Office Manager and the entire team to run a smooth operation. Tasks include managing the office supplies inventory, organizing staff events\/meals, procuring farm materials, and helping with HR administration. The daily tasks will be varied and to be dealt with swiftly and efficiently.<\/p>\n<p>You must be able to transport yourself to the on-site location of Aspire Ghana\u2019s farm on Mango Road, KNUST Campus daily.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tasks\/duties<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage office supply inventory<\/li>\n<li>Manage staff food inventory<\/li>\n<li>Data entry<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating repairs and maintenance servicing<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating purchases with vendors<\/li>\n<li>Organizing staff events (meals, team building events)<\/li>\n<li>Supporting sales team with marketing and sales projects<\/li>\n<li>Manage storage room<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requisite Skills\/Experience<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undergraduate degree<\/li>\n<li>1+ year of administrative work experience<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Gmail, Google Drive<\/li>\n<li>Fantastic organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Diligent, punctual, hardworking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>High level of flexibility<\/li>\n<li>High level of proactivity<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well with limited direction as well as in teams<\/li>\n<li>\u200eExcellent time management and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Fast learner<\/li>\n<li>Strong IT skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills; quick &amp; responsive email communication<\/li>\n<li>Excellent record keeping and documentation skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Start Date<\/strong>: as soon as possible<\/p>\n<p><strong>Compensation<\/strong>: commensurate with experience<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong>: mobile allowance, health insurance after a 3-month probation period<\/p>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application:<\/strong>\u00a0Please submit a cover letter\/letter of intention addressed to Shobhita Soor (President, Aspire Food Group Ghana) along with your CV.
