\n\u2022 Ensure that internal audit activities are in general conformity with the international professional practices framework and other relevant requirements
\n\u2022 Develop and present to the committee an annual risk assessment and audit plan including periodic updates of status and changes required in the plan
\n\u2022 Evaluate internal controls used to detect or mitigate fraud, evaluate the organisation\u2019s assessment of fraud risk and get involved in fraud investigations
\n\u2022 Provide knowledgeable and objective counsel to Executive Management and the committee on critical control, ethics and compliance matters
\n\u2022 Develop an organizational competency in the audit function by identifying and integrating leading practices in work flow, measurement, technologies and resource configuration
\n\u2022 Review contracts \/ service level agreements and carry out any other related matters<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Must possess a relevant first Degree
\n\u2022 A second degree would be an added advantage
\n\u2022 A professional auditing and\/or accounting designation (e.g, CIA, ACCA, CA, CIMA CPA) is desirable<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Strong business performance management abilities
\n\u2022 Ability to create a compelling vision, demonstrate flexibility in approach
\n\u2022 Must have strong technical financial skills and comprehensive understanding of internal auditing (international professional practices framework) COSO etc
\n\u2022 Strong communication skills and executive presence<\/p>\n
