Conveniently located to Kotoka International Airport and in easy walking distance to one of Accra\u2019s exclusive shopping areas, this property is ideal for both business and leisure travellers.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>ROLE OBJECTIVE<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span>We are seeking an outgoing, well spoken and well presented individual with a positive attitude to work closely with the Executive Chef and Hotel Manager in preparing the restaurant for buffet, room service and a la carte service. This will include the organisation of wait and support staff, preparation of production lists, function sheets and other special requirements, including supervision of, preparation and set up\/clearing of service and dining areas for a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner. You will also be expected to supervise and train wait and floor staff on a daily basis whilst monitoring their performance.\u00a0 Additional duties, such as seating of guests, will be required as and when directed by the Manager and Executive Chef.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HOURS OF WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Variable hours over a 7 day rotating roster<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the Manager and Executive Chef in all phases of restaurant operations<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to help achieve and to set objectives within department<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the highest standards of preparation, presentation and cleanliness<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate effective management of wait and support staff within prescribed guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Ensure hygiene standards are maintained in accordance with current legislation and Villa Monticello policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and direct support staff in performance of general restaurant and equipment cleaning, under initiative and as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">REMUNERATION PACKAGE<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Commensurate with experience and negotiable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ideally possess a degree preferably in Hospitality<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of two year\u2019s experience in the hotel or hospitality industry<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of two year\u2019s experience in a similar role<\/li>\n<li>A good knowledge of different wines would be advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Possess outstanding customer service skills<\/li>\n<li>Possess strong communication skills both verbal and written<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Be able to respond effectively to changing demands<\/li>\n<li>Be calm and tolerant under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Able to work off own initiative<\/li>\n<li>Be discreet and diplomatic when dealing with difficult situations\/individuals<\/li>\n<li>Good organisational and excellent time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Be always well presented<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Please send CV to:<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"mailto:hr@villamonticello.com\"><strong>hr@villamonticello.com<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Expires 19th May 2011<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Villa Monticello Ghana:\u00a0Restaurant Floor Supervisor Jobs in Ghana Villa Monticello Ghana is a brand new premier boutique hotel situated in one of the most exclusive areas in Accra, Ghana.
