\n\u2022 Work closely with partners for efficient data collection on all projects
\n\u2022 Design and implement the Project\u2019s M&E system, including the development of indicators, setting targets, and monitoring project progress
\n\u2022 Ensuring timely data collection, writing quarterly and annual reports and liaising with the project financial team to track the budget in relation to all project results and outcomes
\n\u2022 Analyse data collected to assess progress and identify areas for improvement
\n\u2022 Provide regularly updated reports on the status of implementation against the project goals and objectives to the supervisor, management and other project staff as required
\n\u2022 Collaborate with the project team in identifying project activities, processes and or outcomes that are worthy of documentation and design a system for capturing lessons learned and best practices
\n\u2022 Support planning of new activities that support the desired results of projects, this includes providing input into assessments, Project apprasial documents, and scopes of work for new activities
\n\u2022 Support monitoring and evaluation of implementation of activities, this may involve reviewing work plans, quarterly reports, participating in field visits, initiating regular reviews and contributing to program evaluations
\n\u2022 Support the development of proposals, impact stories, research, conducting base line studies, process review, monitoring and evaluation studies and impact assessment studies for various donor\/partner organisations
\n\u2022 Support project teams in product of newsletters, abstracts and publications on GNGH activities
\n\u2022 Performs other duties as assigned or required by supervisor and management<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible professional experience in a performance monitoring and\/or evaluation role with a Non-Government development organisation
\n\u2022 Demonstrated ability in data analysis, project design, monitoring and evaluation of development activities
\n\u2022 Experience developing results frameworks, logical frameworks, or similar tools for project design and M&E Framework
\n\u2022 Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in monitoring and evaluating programs, including indicator development, study design and data analysis \u2013 in multiple sectors
\n\u2022 Excellent research and data collection methodology skills
\n\u2022 Skills in supporting staff with a variety of levels of knowledge and capabilities
\n\u2022 Strong organisational skills in order to balance competing priorities
\n\u2022 Ability to work independently to efficiently meet deadlines
\n\u2022 Strong interpersonal skills
\n\u2022 Oral and written communication skills to deal effectively with mid and high level partners contacts, government partners, and the local communities
\n\u2022 Excellent computer skills and in the use of statistical packages such as SPSS, STATA, R including word processing, spreadsheet programs and data base management<\/p>\n
