With offices in the US and Ghana, Aspire seeks to farm locally desired insects as a way to address food insecurity. In Ghana, Aspire farms the palm weevil larva, a local delicacy that has been traditionally harvested.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: IT Administrator<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Role description<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Aspire Food Group Ghana is looking for a driven, detail-oriented IT Administrator. The Administrator must be tech savvy and passionate about IT. A major component of the role will be training co-workers on software, so candidates must be skilled and comfortable in delivering training to groups. He\/she must be very proficient with G Suite functionality, cloud based software, and Microsoft Office Suite programs.<\/p>\n<p>He\/she must be comfortable taking initiative and supporting his\/her own projects to improve IT systems at Aspire. You must be able to transport yourself to the on-site location of our farm on Mango Road, KNUST Campus on a daily basis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tasks\/duties :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing Google Suite accounts including email, calendars, Google Drive, and Google Filestream<\/li>\n<li>Software license d deployment and administration including Microsoft Office, Antivirus\/adware s oftware, and browser extensions<\/li>\n<li>Training team on all software used with an emphasis on GSuite tools, Excel, and task management programs<\/li>\n<li>Regularly supporting staff by conducting PC optimization checks<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshooting hardware and software issues<\/li>\n<li>IT Equipment inventory management, including usaging tracking, downloading data and calibrating electronic\/software driven equipment used in the farm<\/li>\n<li>Manage internet equipment and optimize internet connectivity<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the development of a variety of models for data analysis in Google Sheets and Excel<\/li>\n<li>Potential to assist with website design<\/li>\n<li>Research new technologies\/softwares required to meet company\u2019s strategic needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requisite Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 Year experience in an IT related role<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s level degree<\/li>\n<li>Ability to train non-tech savvy individuals on tech-related skills in engaging way<\/li>\n<li>Extremely proficient in Word, Excel and Powerpoint<\/li>\n<li>Experienced with conducting statistical analyses on Excel<\/li>\n<li>Ability to create complex macros in Excel and\/or basic coding skills is an asset<\/li>\n<li>Diligent, punctual, hardworking<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills; familiar with quick &amp; responsive email communication<\/li>\n<li>Work under little supervision<\/li>\n<li>Ability to recognize systematic issues and improve processes<\/li>\n<li>Excellent record keeping and documentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to troubleshoot to achieve organizational goals<\/li>\n<li>Working proficiency in spoken and written English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation<\/strong> : \u00a0commensurate with experience<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong> : \u00a0mobile allowance, health insurance after a 3-month probation period<\/p>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application:<\/strong>\u00a0 Please submit a cover letter\/letter of intention addressed to Katie Gardon (Vice President of<\/p>\n<p>Finance, Aspire Food Group Ghana) along with your CV.
