The Managing Consultant shall be responsible for the leadership and general administration of the Institute&#8217;s Consultancy Services unit in respect of human, financial and material resources within the framework of GIMPA&#8217;s Statutes and policies<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The successful candidate shall report to the Rector and shall be a member of the Executive Management Committee (EMC) and Academic Board of the Institute<\/li>\n<li>Shall provide leadership and guidance in planning and implementing Consultancy Services<\/li>\n<li>Shall write proposals and provide consultancy services to the Institute and other organizations<\/li>\n<li>Shall make recommendations to the Academic Board for the development of plans for new programmes and refinement of existing programmes<\/li>\n<li>Shall supervise dissertations<\/li>\n<li>Shall perform any other incidental and related duties as directed by Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Terms of Appointment: <\/strong>The successful shall hold office for a term of three (3) years in the first instance and may be reappointed for a further term of three years only, subject to satisfactory performance<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remuneration:<\/strong> Very attractive and competitive<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>A Ph.D degree and high performance at professional or professorial rank constitute the basic requirement<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated track record of leadership in higher education administration or in consultancy<\/li>\n<li>Experience at top management in a university context will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Must have high level policy analysis skills and intellectual capacity to grasp the essence and spirit of researched information and analytical presentations<\/li>\n<li>Must be Computer literate<\/li>\n<li>Must be ready to work productivity for long and sustained hours<\/li>\n<li>Must have excellent problem solving, interpersonal and leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Must possess adequate skills in providing guidance, and administrative advice to faculty and staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Interested applicants may submit their application, including their most recent Curriculum vitae and academic certificates to the following address:<\/p>\n<div><strong><br \/>\nThe Human Resource Manager<br \/>\nGhana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA)<br \/>\nP.
