{"id":33491,"date":"2018-10-03T12:21:32","date_gmt":"2018-10-03T12:21:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=33491"},"modified":"2018-10-03T12:21:36","modified_gmt":"2018-10-03T12:21:36","slug":"standard-bank-group-jobs-oct-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/standard-bank-group-jobs-oct-2018.html","title":{"rendered":"Standard Bank Group Jobs Oct. 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Information Technology: systems development, business analysis, architecture, project management, data warehousing, infrastructure, maintenance and production<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Specialist, Application Security<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Application Security Specialist will be tasked with identifying vulnerabilities in applications developed either in-house or by externally and their supporting infrastructure while assisting the software engineers and IT teams in the remediation efforts as well as researching threats and attack vectors that impact web, enterprise and mobile applications<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities\/Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessment<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessment on web, enterprise and mobile applications.<\/li>\n<li>Assist software engineering teams with the configuration, tuning and operation of SAST and DAST tools, and their integration into the development process.<\/li>\n<li>Help to validate and interpret SAST, DAST and penetration test findings, demonstrate identified vulnerabilities, assess risks, evaluate possible fixes, and verify successful remediation.<\/li>\n<li>Help to develop and collect metrics to measure the success of the application security program.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the incident response procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Policy and Security Awareness Training<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to the development\/delivery of awareness training and general Information Security education.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in creating and training for software engineering team members on secure code development, and other security literacy topics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Access Controls Review<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Perform periodic reviews on rules and processes used for granting and revoking access to applications.<br \/>\n<strong>Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Report the results of technical IT Security assessments with conclusions, recommendations for improvement, follow-up status to Manager \u2013 Information Security.<\/li>\n<li>Incident Response Management<\/li>\n<li>Assist in investigating all identified security breaches, or concentrated attempts at breaching security controls.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate reported breaches of security, potential abuses or intrusions or interference with the bank\u2019s infrastructure and coordinate mitigation or responses as needed for the purpose of ensuring the bank\u2019s sensitive data is kept secure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Research and Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Research threats and attack vectors that may impact applications and infrastructure.
