\n\u2022 The General Manager must have adequate knowledge and understanding of engineering, production, finance and accounting, operations, sales, marketing, human resources and research and research and development<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Ensure the creation and implementation of a strategy designed to grow the business
\n\u2022 Ensure continuous efficiency of production to achieve results and cost saving measures for all units of the organisation
\n\u2022 Improve profitability and performance of the organisation and delivery of results by all functional areas in the organisation
\n\u2022 Oversee key hiring and talent development programmes
\n\u2022 Evaluate and decide upon key investments in equipment, infrastructure and talent
\n\u2022 Communicate strategy ad results to the unit\u2019s employees
\n\u2022 Responsible for preparing financial and operational report for effective management
\n\u2022 Monitor business unit departments to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits<\/p>\n
