\n\u2022 Lead in the policy development, analysis and review in the area of Human resources development
\n\u2022 Advise and provide technical and administrative support to the chief executive in the planning, recruitment, placement, development and management of human resources for the korle bu teaching hospital
\n\u2022 Lead in the development and maintenance of comprehensive Human resource (HR) database for the hospital
\n\u2022 Prepare annual reports and other reports on Hr as required by the Chief Executive
\n\u2022 Lead in the monitoring and evaluation of HR
\n\u2022 Lead in the preparation of budget for the HR
\n\u2022 Contribute to the development of medium\/long-term plans of the hospital
\n\u2022 Lead in the development of in-service and post-basic training programmes
\n\u2022 contribute to the development of pre-service training programmes
\n\u2022 Co-ordinate fellowship awards for staff
\n\u2022 Lead in the development of incentives\/welfare packages for staff
\n\u2022 Lead in the development of guidelines and protocols on HR for the hospital<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 A minimum of 15 years of working experience in Human resource management and 5 years at senior management level
\n\u2022 A broad knowledge base and experience of health sector human resources policies and operating procedures
\n\u2022 Broad knowledge base and experience of HR management, administrative and operational issues
\n\u2022 Broad knowledge of staff policies and regulations in the public service
\n\u2022 Broad knowledge base of employment and labour legislation
\n\u2022 Knowledge and experience of quality assurance
\n\u2022 Knowledge of coordinating and implementing research and development programmes
\n\u2022 Experience of service development<\/p>\n
