Using your expertise and understanding of projects of this size and nature you will overcome daily challenges by managing the logistics of site staff, equipment and materials. This is a challenging role with excellent opportunities to build knowledge and skillset whilst actively contributing to make a difference.<\/p>\n<p>This is a contract role for a period of approximately 2 years; candidates must be willing to relocate to Ghana for this time period and will be hired on a freelance\/service contract basis.<\/p>\n<p>Your challenge:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shared responsibility for the site management of hospital builds<\/li>\n<li>Responsibility for site health and safety<\/li>\n<li>Managing a multi-national team of varying skillsets and roles<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with sub-contractors<\/li>\n<li>Responsibility for scheduling, budgeting, logistics and on site resource management<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with recruitment of local trades people<\/li>\n<li>Building strong relationships with the team, stakeholders and local governing bodies<\/li>\n<li>Involvement in project and stakeholder meetings<\/li>\n<li>Responsibility for build quality control<\/li>\n<li>Responsibility and introduction of best working practices<\/li>\n<li>Meeting contractual obligations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your profile:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Min. 10-15 years site management\/foreman experience<\/li>\n<li>Professional qualification to work as Foreman\/Site Supervisor Proven work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read, comprehend and execute the Execution Design (Architectural, Structural, MEP and Biomed)<\/li>\n<li>Experience &amp; understanding of large scale &amp; budget hospital\/medical projects<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working on projects in Africa and an understanding of the needs and challenges faced<\/li>\n<li>Up to date knowledge of construction standards and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Ability to indicate cost savings and recognise &amp; communicate necessary design changes<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience of managing a team<\/li>\n<li>Ability to blend with local cultural customs and traditions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Location: Accra, Ghana<\/p>\n<p>Our offer:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meaningful Work<\/li>\n<li>Site accommodation<\/li>\n<li>Alliance World Health Cover<\/li>\n<li>4 flights per year to return home<\/li>\n<li>Salary dependant on relevant experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in pursuing the opportunity, please submit your application using info.pt@vamed.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Located in Vienna, Austria, the\u00a0VAMED Group\u00a0is an internationally leading company in the field of Health Care.
