The underground mining operation will be fully mechanized, designed to produce up to an average maximum of 5,000 t\/day of ore mined.<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated person to join our dedicated team as<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: HR Superintendent \u2013 Staffing and Line Support<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">This role adds value to the organisation by ensuring the required number of people with the requisite capability, (knowledge, skills, experience, thinking and commitment to the work) are available to execute the business plans.\u00a0 Secondly, this role adds value to the human resources Department by delivering advisory support services to line management.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">To effectively implement and where applicable, monitor the Company\u2019s policies and procedures on:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Recruitment, selection and placement of Staff.<\/li>\n<li>Induction and Onboarding.<\/li>\n<li>Promotion, advancement and deployment of Staff.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify, develop and facilitate the implementation of necessary HR Operational Readiness Works to support the redevelopment of the Obuasi Mine.<\/li>\n<li>Develop the annual HR budget to achieve the required targets for achieving annual and medium term HR plans.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver the approved HR Budget targets within specified timeframes, costs and related KPIs.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate Safety Leadership and support improving the Culture across the HR Department regarding Safety, Health, and Sustainable Development.<\/li>\n<li>Support the implementation of all environmental requirements for the HR Department and integrate this work into the Department\u2019s budget.<\/li>\n<li>Implement the HR Staffing Processes and provide professional expertise to line management to develop the workforce to capably and consistently deliver the annual budget, LoM plan and strategy according to their role and level of authority.<\/li>\n<li>Nurture and sustain a culture of Accountability and continuous improvement within the HR Development Department.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain constructive relationships with Internal Stakeholders (CAR HR, Mine Management Team, Departmental Team Members, etc.) and external Stakeholders (Regulatory Agencies and Authorities).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Qualification<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University Degree in HR Management, Industrial Psychology or Social Sciences.<\/li>\n<li>Professional certification or membership; (CIPD qualifications, SHRM, SPHR, HRMP).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Experience<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Not less than 3 years\u2019 experience in a similar role\u00a0within the mining industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Technical Competencies<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Human Resources Functional Knowledge\u00a0 with expertise in talent acquisition.<\/li>\n<li>Conversant with the Ghana Labour Laws.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to exercise sound judgment and to make decisions in a manner consistent with\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 established Company policy and Labour laws.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to identify opportunities, diagnose problems and develop solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Applications.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to identify opportunities, diagnose problems and develop solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Leadership Competencies<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to inspire and motivate others, promoting Collaboration and Team work, Developing Others.<\/li>\n<li>Team player.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build and maintain effective collateral and cross functional working relationship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested Ghanaians with the above qualification and experience should submit their applications, with detailed CV.<\/p>\n<p>Please note \u2013 only candidates who are successfully shortlisted will be contacted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CLOSING DATE: 7TH\u00a0NOVEMBER 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AngloGold Ashanti (Ghana) Limited is currently on a journey to redevelop the Obuasi Gold Mine into a modern, efficient and long-term profitable operation.
