Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0Senior Manager Securities Services Operations<\/strong><\/p>\n The Role Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n Job purpose<\/p>\n 1.To support the Head SS in overseeing and controlling the day to day Settlement and Clearing operations activities.<\/p>\n 2.Support and develop the operations team to ensure efficient operations managed in strict compliance with the various local laws and jurisdictions and group risk standards.<\/p>\n 3.Review and drive forward the process re engineering in Country and to maintain standards or any internal\/external standards established by senior management.<\/p>\n 4.Ensure continuous improvement of the team performance and effective risk management to protect the Clients\u2019 and Bank\u2019s interest by challenging the current processes and coming up with better ways to do things.<\/p>\n 5.To drive and support of projects and changes management relating to SS<\/p>\n 6.To support manage service delivery in accordance with the business plan and in close liaison with sales and product partners.<\/p>\n Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n 1.Quality Service \u2013 To ensure the highest levels of Customer Service and proactively seek improvements to meet customer needs and requirements and where opportunities arise to exceed them.<\/p>\n 2.Risk Management<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Manages and directs Operational Risk Management and Controls for the Custody service to ensure that the unit achieves a minimum audit rating of 2 or better.<\/p>\n 3.People<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Train and develop direct reports and key 2-downs by ensuring the appropriate use and development of personal skills and providing exposure to relevant professional association regulatory bodies and industry counterparts.<\/p>\n 4.Reporting<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Ensure Timeliness, Responsiveness, Accuracy and be Pro-active in handling transaction processing.<\/p>\n 5.Costs<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Monitor and manage costs against budget.<\/p>\n 6.Compliance<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Manage and ensure compliance to all established procedures, regulations and the Group Custody Policy Guide. Keep the Business Head and Regional Head of Securities Services, advised of financial and any extraordinary developments.\u00a0 Ensure accurate and timely submissions of management and local regulatory returns.<\/p>\n 7.Security Management \u2013 To co-ordinate and communicate all matters relating to the development and management of security.\u00a0 This covers both preventative and investigative security and includes:\u00a0 business continuity planning and emergency management, protection of staff, assets and property, investigation of fraud, losses or other irregularities, measures to prevent drug money laundering and computer and communications security.<\/p>\n 8.Productivity\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Initiate, review and implementation of cost effective and practical procedures via systematic analysis, automation in order to increase the level of efficiency and productivity leading to higher profitability.<\/p>\n 9Team Work<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Assist<\/p>\n Head Securities Services, product manager and head SSops in planning and implementation of products, services, marketing and business strategies.<\/p>\n Head SS and other team members in driving new processes and control<\/p>\n Key Measurables<\/strong><\/p>\n 1.Successful implementation of changes with minimal negative impacts on clients and staff<\/p>\n 2.Higher efficiency and Productivity through improvements in work processes, systems enhancements and operational hubbing (If applicable).<\/p>\n 3.Operations Risk Management, Compliance to Group and Statutory standards as we work on changes.<\/p>\n 4.Promote Group Brand Values.<\/p>\n 5.Drive and achieve and audit rating of acceptable and management control of approach of established.<\/p>\n 6.Improvement in client rating of the services<\/p>\n 7.Provide leadership in the implementation of innovative solutions to client within the SCB control environment<\/p>\n 8.Demonstrate in-depth understanding of securities services and ability to interruption with global custody clients<\/p>\n 9.Access to key stakeholders and personal in the market to drive client agenda.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" We are a leading international bank focused on helping people and companies prosper across Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
