Job Title:\u00a0Senior Technical Lead<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. (Wood) is seeking a\u00a0Senior Technical Lead<\/strong>\u00a0for Ghana in the energy sector to guide and support the West Africa Energy Program (WAEP) under the Power Africa Expansion Program.\u00a0 WAEP will target advancing the energy sector, specifically as related to facilitating the financial closure of power transactions and strengthening the enabling environment for private sector investment in Ghana and West Africa\u2019s power sector, while addressing key constraints to such investment and strengthening the human and institutional capacity of key national power sector entities, including utilities, on-grid connections, and regional power trade. Projects will be performed in close coordination with US funding agencies and local stakeholder counterparts.\u00a0\u00a0Extensive experience living and working in Ghana is highly preferred.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This full-time position will be based in Accra, Ghana, and will require frequent travel to in-country project sites.\u00a0 Wood\u2019s Senior Energy Lead for Ghana will provide technical leadership, project management, and strategy and project formulation support for all desired outcomes of the Ghana program.\u00a0 The successful candidate will report directly to the project COP.<\/p>\n
