If you work well in a dynamic collaborative culture, set high standards, and meet challenges with determination and a sense of humor, you\u2019ll thrive at Farmerline.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Finance Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Be in charge of the bookkeeping functions for Farmerline\u2019s operations (Farmer Services and Corporate Services) and assist in other accounting and administrative processes for the organization.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Major Responsibilities<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Bookkeeping for Corporate Services and Farmer Services transactions (accounts receivables and accounts payable).<\/li>\n<li>Prepare scheduled and adhoc financial reports for Corporate Services and Farmer Services as required by management.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure financial policies and procedures are followed by all staff members.<\/li>\n<li>Process payment requests in an organized manner.<\/li>\n<li>Make recommendations to management on ways to improve the internal control system.<\/li>\n<li>Perform various reconciliations: GL accounts, debtors accounts, creditors accounts, agent accounts, loan accounts, and general ledger accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring purchasing procedures and periodic checks of stock.<\/li>\n<li>Manage office petty cash.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the general administration of the Accra and\/or Kumasi office.<\/li>\n<li>Attending to all management reporting requirement as and when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Managing statutory returns and submission (e.g PAYE, SSNIT).<\/li>\n<li>Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties assigned by supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications: Education\/Knowledge\/Technical Skills and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Accounting or advanced stage of a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, etc).<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>At least 2 years solid working experience that provided exposure to all or most of the above responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Be computer literate and be able to use Ms. Excel.<\/li>\n<li>A team player who pays attention to detail.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competitive salary.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Accommodation support for international candidates.<\/li>\n<li>Health insurance provided.<\/li>\n<li>A leadership team and colleagues invested in your personal and professional growth.<\/li>\n<li>Dynamic, young culture with great opportunities for learning, leadership, and FUN.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits And Compensation<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive Salary<\/li>\n<li>Local Health Insurance<\/li>\n<li>A leadership team and colleagues investing in your personal and professional growth<\/li>\n<li>Dynamic, young culture with great opportunities for learning, leadership, and FUN<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Do you want to improve millions of lives and leave a lasting legacy at the same time?
