\n\u2022 Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.)
\n\u2022 Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
\n\u2022 Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation
\n\u2022 Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives
\n\u2022 Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)
\n\u2022 Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
\n\u2022 Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
\n\u2022 Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker\u2019s compensation claims
\n\u2022 Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Certificate in occupational health and safety<\/p>\n
