Waterfall and Agile<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Required Technical Expertise<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering or an equivalent qualification.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">5-10 years\u2019 experience in Data warehousing, Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) development, Business Intelligence dashboard designs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Creating and designing dimensional data models.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Cloud warehousing experience.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Programming experience (Python, Java, PhP)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Experienced in doing SQL queries<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Additional Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Continuous improvement knowledge and skill.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Continued learning and\/or professional development knowledge and skill.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Information technology (IT) enablement strategy and planning knowledge skill.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Extensive knowledge of Business Intelligence and Analytics Software such as Micro Strategy, Pyramid, OBIEE, Microsoft Power BI and Qlikview.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Extensive knowledge in ETL development and maintenance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Proven experience developing cubes, multi-dimensional models, tabular, data-marts, data-warehouses etc.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Support the various PEG business functional areas like data extraction, new variable creation and data.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Develop and prepare schedule for a new DW.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Prepare plans for all ETL procedures and architectures.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Analyze large databases and recommend appropriate optimization for same.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Design data models and define both logical and physical models.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Administer all requirements and design various functional specifications for data.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Monitor DW work and provide subject matter expertise.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Provide training to all employees of development team.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Coordinate with external clients and participate in various technical meetings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Design and implement various unit tests on system and prepare test data.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Map data between source systems, data warehouses, and data marts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Create supporting documentation, such as metadata and diagrams of entity relationships, business processes, and process flow.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Provide or coordinate troubleshooting support for data warehouses.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Conduct against best practices, assessments (Data Quality) on data collection and storage within the company.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Define and develop methods, techniques and criteria for data warehousing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Plan, coordinate, design and establish the DW to ensure effective management of data in the company<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Implement and maintain the DW in support of business intelligence and analytics for the company.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Develop and maintain standards, processes and guidelines for the design of DW elements to ensure a consistent, well managed and well-integrated secure data warehouse.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Additional Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Think creatively: PEG is a place that is permanently pushing the boundaries within its industry.
