Then you are the person we are looking for<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>About the Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We are seeking a talented, self-directed Data Engineer to design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data structures for our business.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Gather business and functional requirements and translate these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture. Analyze source data systems and drive best practices in source teams. Participate in the full development life cycle, end-to-end, from design, implementation and testing, to documentation, delivery, support, and maintenance. Produce comprehensive, usable dataset documentation and metadata.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The ideal candidate relishes working with large volumes of data, enjoys the challenge of highly complex technical contexts, and, above all else, is passionate about data and analytics.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The ideal candidate needs to possess exceptional technical expertise in Python and have hands-on knowledge on SQL.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Basic requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics or a related field.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">3+ years of industry experience as a Data Engineer or related specialty (e.g., Business Intelligence Engineer, Data Scientist)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Experience in data modeling, ETL development, and Data warehousing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Demonstrated collaborative skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Big picture thinker<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Demonstrated pragmatism and innovation<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Avid learner, constantly keeping up to date with technology advances<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Demonstrated experience in the Data domain, specifically related to application development and transactional data.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Advanced Academic qualification<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Project management; Waterfall and Agile<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Required Technical Expertise<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Knowledge of state-of-the-art startup-style software development methods: Github, StackOverflow, JIRA, Confluence, etc<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Experience with Python and associated tools &amp; resources<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Experience with Jupyter notebooks<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Domain expertise in traditional Database technology.
