Our network is interconnected and peers with leading operators and internet exchanges worldwide to provide global reach to our customers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Finance Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Finance Officer will be responsible for providing support to the Finance Manager to ensure timely and accurate completion of all finance &amp; accounting tasks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other Job Functions include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Account Payable Management<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of bank reconcilation statements<\/li>\n<li>Remittances to tax authorities<\/li>\n<li>Assist in audit activities<\/li>\n<li>Assist with completing of month-end journals<\/li>\n<li>Assist in cash requisitions, advances, retirements<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and review expense, invoices and other accounting documents<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have a degree in B. Com., Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field<\/li>\n<li>Partly qualified \u2013 ICA, ACCA, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Have a minimum of 2 -3 years of experience in handling accounting functions<\/li>\n<li>CANDIDATE MUST BE RESIDENT IN GHANA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must understand tax laws<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications (Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Demand of the Job<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Planning and organizing<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Problem analysis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MainOne is a leading provider of innovative telecom services and network solutions for businesses in West Africa.
