The person will be expected to have a practical knowledge of the travel and tour industries and also establish partners in the industry both local and international.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>POSITION: TICKETING AND TOUR EXPERT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>REPORTING TO THE GENERAL MANAGER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>LOCATION: DZORWULLO ACCRA<\/p>\n<p>The Tour Consultant shall perform the following functions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaising with travel partners, tour operators and hotels, to manage bookings, schedules &amp; promotions.<\/li>\n<li>Design and manage attractive and cost effective tour packages for our cherished clients and assist the operations manager in organizing \u2018signature tours\u2019<\/li>\n<li>Provide clients with professional travel advice to assure value for money and client satisfaction<\/li>\n<li>Research and update the relevant portals and stakeholders on various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions and reviews to enhance customer satisfaction<\/li>\n<li>Network with industry professionals and partner establishment both local and outside<\/li>\n<li>Marketing of services: Manage the business website, social media and other platforms to sell our business value proposition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Diploma or certificate in Travel and Tourism or related is a must.<\/li>\n<li>A certified user of at least one ticketing platforms Amadeus, Sabre etc<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three (3) years\u2019 experience in travel and tours operations<\/li>\n<li>Excellent customer service skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Web and social media Marketing &amp; selling skills<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in Microsoft office (word, excel and PowerPoint)<\/li>\n<li>Web and social media Marketing &amp; selling skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong written &amp; verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Travel and Tour management experience<\/li>\n<li>Research skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Qualified applicants should send their applications and CVs to\u00a0<strong>dantatravelslimited@gmail.com<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Role Overview:\u00a0The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end to end management of tour packages, ticketing and reservation.
