\n\u2022 Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
\n\u2022 Setting standards for quality as well as health and safety
\n\u2022 Making sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards
\n\u2022 Looking at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency
\n\u2022 Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff
\n\u2022 Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures
\n\u2022 Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
\n\u2022 Making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them
\n\u2022 Using relevant quality tools and making sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business
\n\u2022 Making sure the company is working as effectively as possible to keep up with competitors<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a quality assurance manager
\n\u2022 Certification of qualify control in (ISO 22,000) etc
\n\u2022 Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
\n\u2022 Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis\/statistical methods
\n\u2022 Good knowledge of MS office and databases
\n\u2022 Outstanding communication skills
\n\u2022 Great attention to detail and a results-driven approach
\n\u2022 Excellent organisational and leadership abilities
\n\u2022 Reliable and trustworthy<\/p>\n
