Ghana Heath Service recruits: <strong>Deputy Director (Public Health)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Duration: The Appointment is for a renewable term of four (4) years<\/p>\n<p><strong> Compensation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Ghana Health Service compensation package is competitve in the Public Sector<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants should have post-graduate qualification in their respective fields with 7 year experience as practitioners in their professionl fields<br \/>\nThe last 3 years (5 years for first 3 positions) must be in a Management position preferably in the Public Health Sector<br \/>\nEvidence of leadership and continuous professional development or valid registration from the professional institution is necessary if applicants&#8217; profession is regualated by law<br \/>\nApplicants must have considerable strategic, interpersonal and analytical skills with a deep understanding and appreciation of the strategic and operational challenges in the Health Sector<br \/>\nThe ideal candidate must be performance driven and keen to achieve results<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conditions:<\/strong><br \/>\nApplicants outside the GHS must be able to serve a full term of four (4) years effective 1 October 2010 before attaining the compulsory retiring age of 60years<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested persons who meet the above requirement should submit six sets of an application made up of the following documents with the position applied for clearly written at the left corner of the envelope<\/p>\n<p>Application letter<br \/>\nCurriculum vitae with names and addresses of two (2) referees<br \/>\nCopies of academic and professional certificates<br \/>\nValid professional registration \/license if profession is regulated by law<br \/>\nOne (1) page Vision Statement on how applicant intends to respond to the GHS mission<br \/>\nApplications should be sent by hand or by courier to reach the address below.
