\nTo design as-built for fibre installations
\nb) Radio and Copper
\nMount Indoor Units and Outdoor Microwave(Point-to-point ) equipment on poles and towers for radio installations
\nCalculate link budget prior to installation of last mile radios
\nRead and take GPS coordinates prior to preparation of link budgets
\nTaking physical line of sight (LOS) between two or more different locations
\nApplication of RADWIN\/Airmux manager to adjust frequencies during installation of Last mile radios
\nRunning of external CAT5 cables between IDUs and ODUs
\nc) Copper
\nInstallation of SHDSL modems at both Exchanges and customer premises
\nTesting of cable pairs at the MDF towards the switch\/Transmission room and the cabinet
\nTesting of cable pairs within customer premises
\nTroubleshoot with cable team during implementation
\nRunning of internal CAT5 cable between Test rooms and Transmission rooms
\nd) Other Internal Responsibilities
\nSHDSL Modem configuration
\nCustomer Router\/Switch configurations
\nTo patch fibre patch cords on Optical Distribution Frame in the transmission rooms, MSAN and customer end
\nTo run and terminate E1 cables
\nTo run and terminate internal network cables
\ne)Job scope in-stake with other departments<\/p>\n
\nImplement all VBS business as usual services
\nDesign of single line as-built diagrams of VBS implemented projects
\nOwn VBS customer services( Ensures agreed VBS SLAs are met)
\nGive feedback to VBS on installations and project implementations
\nVodafone Wholesale (NCBC)<\/p>\n
\nImplement all Vodafone Wholesale business as usual services
\nTo give feedback to Vodafone wholesale account managers on installations and project implementations<\/p>\n
\nTo give feedback on bandwidth test
\nPerform through put test by using traffic generators, jperf and other software
\nPerform bandwidth stress test over long hours at customer premises<\/p>\n
\nCable Station (Landing Station) SAT-3<\/p>\n
\nConduct various link test with third parties such as Verizon, AT&T, Cable and Wireless, etc towards their local clients in Ghana during implementations
\nProvide information on all circuit IDs to international carriers prior to handing over<\/p>\n
\nMinimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in a related field
\nKnowledge of engineering and quality standards
\nBasic IP skills\/CCNA preferred
\nBasic project management skills or equivalent skills such as Prince2\/PMP
\nMust have clean driving record, and possess valid driving licence
\nIn-depth knowledge on GPON\/FTTX Technology
\nIn-depth knowledge on physical LAN\/WAN wiring
