{"id":352,"date":"2010-07-11T07:57:51","date_gmt":"2010-07-11T07:57:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=352"},"modified":"2010-07-05T14:00:02","modified_gmt":"2010-07-05T14:00:02","slug":"ministry-of-employment-social-welfare-national-programme-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/ministry-of-employment-social-welfare-national-programme-manager.html","title":{"rendered":"Ministry of Employment &#038; Social Welfare: National Programme Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong> Ministry of Employment and Social Welfare<\/strong> exists to promote sustainable employment opportunities, management and vocational skills development, training and re-training, harmonious industrial relations, safe and group formation and social integration of vulnerable, excluded and the disadvantaged for the development and growth of the economy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Employment and Social Welfare (MESW) is implementing a Government of Ghana national initiative to eliminate the worst forms of child labour in the cocoa sector through the National Programme for the Elimination of Worst Forms of Child Labour in Cocoa (NPECLC):<\/p>\n<p>Provide day-to-day administration and the overall leadership and evaluation for the programme<br \/>\nProvide technical advice on implementation activities of the programme<br \/>\nResponsible for the overall coordination of the programme at all levels<br \/>\nPrepare annual programme plan, budget and reports<br \/>\nSet up necessary budgetary control project expenditures and generate financial reports<br \/>\nMobilize additional funding from all possible sources by undertaking detailed formulation of projects<br \/>\nMonitor all project plans and take corrective actions when necessary to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of project outputs<br \/>\nEnsure that all properties\/assets of the project are professionally maintained and protected<br \/>\nContribute to the international recognition of NPRCLC and promote informed debates<br \/>\nProvide overall supervision and support for the programme implementation<br \/>\nAny other duties assigned<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A good first degree in relevant field<br \/>\nA post graduate qualification in Social Sciences or Development Administration or Agricultural Science in a related field<br \/>\nA PhD in a related field will be an added advantage<br \/>\nA minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible and relevant professional work experience<br \/>\nDemonstrate experience in Community Development including Right Base Initiatives<br \/>\nKnowledge of the Agricultural Sector with experience in Cocoa Agriculture is desirable<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit application letter, a resume and any relevant certificate to the address below:<\/p>\n<p>The Chief Director<br \/>\nMinistry of Employment and Social Welfare<br \/>\nMinistries, Accra<br \/>\nor mail to:<br \/>\nThe Chief Director<br \/>\nMinistry of Employment and Social Welfare (MESW)<br \/>\nP.
