{"id":35294,"date":"2019-01-10T20:44:43","date_gmt":"2019-01-10T20:44:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=35294"},"modified":"2019-01-10T20:44:43","modified_gmt":"2019-01-10T20:44:43","slug":"sgs-jobs-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/sgs-jobs-2019.html","title":{"rendered":"SGS Jobs 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SGS is a social enterprise that provides socially relevant ICT for development services and products that address the development needs of citizens.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Business Development Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>New Business Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prospect for potential new clients and turn these into increased business.<\/li>\n<li>Cold call as appropriate within market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging existing and new networks.<\/li>\n<li>Research and build relationships with new clients.<\/li>\n<li>Set up meetings between client decision makers and company\u2019s practice leaders\/Principals.<\/li>\n<li>Plan approaches and pitches.<\/li>\n<li>Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client\u2019s needs, concerns, and objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in pricing the solution\/service.<\/li>\n<li>Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Business Development Planning<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and execute sales campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present findings to senior management.<\/li>\n<li>Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.<\/li>\n<li>Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.<\/li>\n<li>Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company\u2019s unique selling propositions and differentiators.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Management and Research<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.<\/li>\n<li>Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.<\/li>\n<li>Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.<\/li>\n<li>Work with other staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A thorough knowledge of the ICT for Development market (with focus SMS, Voice and VAS in general), the solutions\/services the company can provide, and of the company\u2019s competitors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Goal-oriented, organized team player<\/li>\n<li>Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories<\/li>\n<li>Able to analyse data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated and self-directed<\/li>\n<li>Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets<\/li>\n<li>Experienced at preparing and presenting quarterly goals and forecasts for future projects<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable in both a leadership and team-player role<\/li>\n<li>Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge<\/li>\n<li>Three to five years of previous experience in sales, management, customer service, finance, administration, or related field<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated and proven sales results<\/li>\n<li>Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)<\/li>\n<li>Fluent communication in person, on the phone, and in email<\/li>\n<li>Abide by all non-compete\/solicit agreements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Applicants should submit Letters of Motivation and CV to\u00a0<strong>info@sgsghana.com<\/strong>\u00a0no later than Tuesday <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">15<sup>th<\/sup>January, 2019. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Please note that only shortlisted applicants will be invited for interviews<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SGS is a social enterprise that provides socially relevant ICT for development services and products that address the development needs of citizens.
