Job Title:\u00a0Senior Sales Executive \u2013 Oracle Utilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

SCOPE:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To win new Applications license business in the Oracle Utilities Global Business Unit
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Reports to the EMEA VP Sales Oracle Utilities Global Business Unit
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Has no direct reports, but leads the activities of virtual teams in support of opportunities
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Works in the utility industry on a defined set of accounts ranging from large global enterprises to mid-tier in the designated territory
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Identifies and segments all organizations that fall into their designated territory, plans and executes sales campaigns for their territory and ensures customer satisfaction
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Engage with customers and prospects to present and sell Oracle Utilities Global Business Unit applications. Winning new license sales revenue in line with targets.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Works with appropriate Oracle Partners
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Works with other Lines of Business (LOBs)<\/p>\n

RESPONSIBILITIES\/ACCOUNTABILITIES:<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Developing a strategy and sales plan to address the designated accounts \/ territory
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Strong focus on account selling \u2013 identify value proposition; whitespace; proactively propose applications to account
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Identify and grow partnerships to successfully address client\u2019s needs and create differentiators
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Generating and following up on leads.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Marshalling internal and Partner resources to conduct the sales process.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Identifying and working with the appropriate people in Oracle and the Customer.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Facilitating and nurturing Senior Management relationships to generate active sponsorship of Oracle.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maintaining an understanding of Oracle\u2019s strategic direction and interpreting its relevance to the territory \/ industry.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maintaining an awareness of Oracle Utilities\u2019 current and future Application products and services.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Actively maintaining a depth of product knowledge of Oracle solutions in the Utilities market.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Research and communicate current industry trends, drivers and potential
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Communicate the benefits of Oracle value propositions to the market
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Work with appropriate people to co-ordinate marketing activities in order to generate leads
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Create and manage bids teams
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Produce an accurate weekly \/ monthly forecast and pipeline
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Build and maintain effective relationships with other Oracle LOBs to ensure resources are made available as and when required
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Establish and maintain contractual agreements between Oracle and the Customers
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain customer satisfaction in with accounts throughout and beyond the implementation
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Operate in line with Oracle\u2019s business processes and procedures
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Deliver and co-ordinate customer presentations and demonstrations
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Attend Industry forums<\/p>\n

ESSENTIAL SKILLS<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Proven track record in selling software applications \/ services to utilities companies\/ public sector in Western, Eastern and Central Africa
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Excellent track record of meeting targets
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Demonstrated ability to close large complex deals
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Proven track record in building relationships at all level within utility companies
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Influencing and negotiating skills
