He\/She will provide safe and responsible driving of all office vehicles, properly maintain them, perform office errands and assist with other office services.<\/p>\n<p>The position is based in Ghana<\/p>\n<p>Number of On-Call Drivers required: 3<\/p>\n<p><strong>Driving<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drives vehicles for official travels and business, to meeting and field activities.<\/li>\n<li>Performs airport pick-up duties<\/li>\n<li>Maintain high standard of service to both internal and external staff and guests<\/li>\n<li>Ensure punctuality and safe transport<\/li>\n<li>Observing the road and traffic laws and regulations of Ghana<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the safe driving practice are adhered to including local driving codes and internally agreed standards<\/li>\n<li>Alcohol must not be consumed or present whilst on duty<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Vehicle Maintenance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that assigned vehicles is compliant with minimum operating standards and meets vehicle policy requirements<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the vehicle is kept clean and in good condition at all times<\/li>\n<li>Ensure vehicle is given regular \/ day-to-day maintenance checks: check oil, water level, battery, brakes, tires, and so on.<\/li>\n<li>Perform minor repairs, arranges for regular maintenance and ensure maintenance are carried out properly by official manufacturer\u2019s specification.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure safety and custody of the vehicle, including tools.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure availability of all required documents \/ supplies including vehicle insurance, registration, logs, map of the city \/ country, first aid kit, and necessary spare parts are in the assigned vehicle.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that, in the event of an accident involving the office vehicle, the necessary steps required by rules and regulations are followed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Administrative Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain records for vehicles, logs official trips, records daily mileage, records the use of fuel and keeps record of consumption.<\/li>\n<li>Keeps track of insurance and other tax formalities<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the mailing and distribution of correspondence, delivery goods, carrying parcels, packages, and arranges to pay office telephone and other bills required.<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duty assigned by the supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum qualification: Senior High School Certificate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3-5 years\u2019 experience in driving<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with DVLA road signs<\/li>\n<li>Experience driving with a USAID funded project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have good communication and written skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to type using word and excel<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate android phones<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants should apply below<br \/>\nIf you have any queries, please e-mail recruitment@tfhoghana.org or call 0302766990 and ask to speak to a member of the HR team<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TFHO is a local Social Marketing Organisation that promotes healthier lives by providing quality health commodities.
