{"id":35972,"date":"2019-02-07T08:28:58","date_gmt":"2019-02-07T08:28:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=35972"},"modified":"2019-02-07T08:28:58","modified_gmt":"2019-02-07T08:28:58","slug":"internships-at-african-capacity-building-foundation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/internships-at-african-capacity-building-foundation.html","title":{"rendered":"Internships At African Capacity Building Foundation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Foundation has internship opportunities at its headquarters in Harare, Zimbabwe and in Accra, Ghana for students and\/or recent graduates to join the Foundation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Internship<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Internship Offers Opportunities To<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Work with a major international institution driving Africa\u2019s capacity development.<\/li>\n<li>Participate and gain a deeper understanding of ACBF\u2019s work in Africa.<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with experienced professionals in a multi-cultural environment.<\/li>\n<li>Build the individual\u2019s career path with practical work experience as they contribute to ACBF\u2019s work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SELECTION CRITERIA (required Skills And Knowledge)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Selection will be on a competitive basis and the following minimum qualifications and competencies are required.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must be enrolled or have recently completed an advanced degree in a wide range of fields such as Business Administration, Communication, Economics, Computer Science, Finance, Library and Information Science, International Development, Public Administration; Records Management or any related Social-Sciences field.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work independently under minimum supervision and be accountable.<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Fluency in, at least, one of the Foundation\u2019s working languages (English or French).<\/li>\n<li>Excellent research, critical thinking and analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interactive and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer skills (MS applications)<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated mastery of subject matter.<\/li>\n<li>Efficient in meeting commitments, deadlines and achieving results<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Foundation will provide the interns a monthly allowance.
