The underground mining operation will be fully mechanized, designed to produce up to an average maximum of 5,000 t\/day of ore mined.<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated person to join our dedicated team as<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0\u00a0Logging Geologist.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT<\/b><\/p>\n<p>To provide dependable systems of work that reliably delivers the expected ore grade and tonnage from mine to mill. Integrate the technical studies, programs and analysis of production geology with the business objectives and processes of mine planning, mining production, and process plant. Monitor and report on these processes through effective reconciliation of gold movement across the system.<\/p>\n<p><b>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establish the necessary foundation for the redevelopment of the Obuasi Mine and being operationally ready<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o\u00a0Core Management Operational Readiness System and process design<br \/>\no\u00a0Contract and Contractor Supervision (Drilling, Laboratory &amp; BOS, Datamine, Leapfrog)<br \/>\no\u00a0Fit for purpose facilities operations<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement the current Obuasi Mine redevelopment geology plan and improve upon it where possible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o\u00a0Apply defined Core Management risk management practices<br \/>\no\u00a0Apply established Core Management Functional systems and methods<br \/>\no\u00a0Functional areas: Core Yard Management<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare Geology LOM plans and annual budget, rolling annual forecast consistent with the approved project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o\u00a0Implement Yearly Core Management plans consistent with the approved project<br \/>\no\u00a0Implement monthly budget plan and budget<br \/>\no\u00a0Implement rolling monthly forecast for geology<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the delivery of the Geology Department budget as minimum requirement through the performance of Chief Geologist Team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o\u00a0Implement defined Core Management risk management practices<br \/>\no\u00a0Implement established Core Management Functional systems and methods<br \/>\no\u00a0Provide Core Management budget performance reporting<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate Safety Leadership and improve the Culture across the Geology Department regarding Safety, Health, and Sustainable Development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o\u00a0Ensure Core Management:<br \/>\no\u00a0Goals and targets achievement<br \/>\no\u00a0Monitoring and reporting actions<br \/>\no\u00a0Major incident investigation contribution<br \/>\no\u00a0Monitor and assist hazard reporting<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Environmental management that is integrated into the Geology Department business plan and for drilling, core yard and laboratory<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o\u00a0Compliance to corporate, legislative, regulatory protocols and document control<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Resource and develop the people within the Geology Department to capably and consistently deliver the annual budget, LoM plan and strategy according to their role and level of authority<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o\u00a0Adhere to \u201cFit for purpose\u201d Evaluation, Production, Exploration &amp; Core Management structure and role descriptions<br \/>\no\u00a0Implement Competency Matrix across section Roles<br \/>\no\u00a0Adhere Leadership and Supervisory Development Program &amp; Plan<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nurture and sustain a site of accountability and continuous improvement within Geology Department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o\u00a0Provide evidence of improved productivity across the Core Management sections<br \/>\no\u00a0Ensure continuous improvement to address:<br \/>\no\u00a0Cost effectiveness<br \/>\no\u00a0Productivity improvement<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the MD in maintaining constructive relationships with internal Stakeholders (Exco, Corporate, Group Planning &amp; Technical, CAR, etc.) and external Stakeholders (Contractors, Ghana Chamber of Mines, Mineral Commission, Stool Lands Administrator)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o\u00a0Supervisory involvement and contribution<br \/>\no\u00a0Cross sectional &amp;
