\n\u2022 Provide legal advice to the church
\n\u2022 Prepare or review legal documents such as contracts, leases and MOUs with external parties
\n\u2022 Review and prepare internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with statutory or legal requirements
\n\u2022 Represent the church in court or any other forum
\n\u2022 Gather evidence to formulate defense or initiate legal actions
\n\u2022 Identify any new which necessitates an improvement to the church\u2019s standard legal documentation
\n\u2022 Develop processes to eradicate or mitigate legal liabilities
\n\u2022 Assist in internal disciplinary or investigative proceedings of staff
\n\u2022 Provide legal education to the church from time to time
\n\u2022 Perform any other incidental and related duties as directed by the GAC<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Professional qualification (Barrister at Law)
\n\u2022 A minimum of 3 years post call experience<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Excellent written and oral communication skills
\n\u2022 Exhibition of of high sense of integrity
\n\u2022 High level of commitment and professionalism
\n\u2022 A team player
\n\u2022 Must be able to take difficult and bold decisions and initiatives<\/p>\n
