{"id":36335,"date":"2019-02-25T09:33:14","date_gmt":"2019-02-25T09:33:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=36335"},"modified":"2019-02-25T09:33:14","modified_gmt":"2019-02-25T09:33:14","slug":"gimpa-jobs-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/gimpa-jobs-2019.html","title":{"rendered":"GIMPA Jobs 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), a World-Class University and Centre of Excellence for training in Leadership, Management and Administration, located at Greenhill, Accra, invites applications from suitably qualified persons to the above position in the Institute.<\/p>\n<p>The Director of Corporate Affairs and Institutional Advancement shall be the Institute\u2019s Chief Advisor on public affairs and shall supervise a team of professionals to discharge all public relations, fundraising, events\u00a0organisation\u00a0and allied functions for the Institute.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Director, Corporate Affairs And Institutional Advancement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reporting Relationship<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Director of Corporate Affairs and Institutional Advancement shall report directly to the Rector.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the reputation management of the Institute;<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain the Institute\u2019s corporate image and identity, which includes the use of logos and signage;<\/li>\n<li>Take editorial responsibility\u00a0for the\u00a0Institute\u2019s website, and other corporate communication tools;<\/li>\n<li>Develop, implement and evaluate communications strategies for dealing with all stakeholders;<\/li>\n<li>Offer strategic advice to Management on issues relating to Corporate Affairs and Institutional Advancement;<\/li>\n<li>Play a key role in\u00a0management\u00a0and planning of the corporate affairs Department;<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the Institute\u2019s annual report and other official publications;<\/li>\n<li>Design, write and\/or produce presentations, press releases, articles, leaflets, \u2018in-house\u2019 journals, publicity brochures, newsletters, and\u00a0reports;<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the coordination of all marketing activities (radio\/TV advertising, print, billboards, web marketing, etc.) for the Institute;<\/li>\n<li>Plan the fund-raising strategy and carry out specific projects, including identification of potential sponsors and settle on appropriate targets for funding;<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and assist the fulfillment of institutional obligations to funders;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that expenses are within budgetary guidelines to contribute to cost-effective operation;<\/li>\n<li>Identify and prioritize emerging issues and handle them in a timely fashion;<\/li>\n<li>Develop strategies for managing the Institute\u2019s relations with its Alumni; and<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as required by Management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Terms of Appointment<\/strong><br \/>\nThe successful candidate shall hold office for a term of three (3) years in the first instance and may be reappointed for a further term of three years only, subject to satisfactory performance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remuneration<\/strong><br \/>\nVery attractive and competitive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have a minimum of a Master\u2019s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications Studies or related disciplines from a reputable university.
