{"id":36612,"date":"2019-03-05T09:12:13","date_gmt":"2019-03-05T09:12:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=36612"},"modified":"2019-03-05T09:12:13","modified_gmt":"2019-03-05T09:12:13","slug":"careers-at-waec-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/careers-at-waec-2019.html","title":{"rendered":"Careers At WAEC 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The West African Examinations Council , a sub-regional organization responsible for the conduct of various examinations in the English-speaking West African countries invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the under-mentioned vacant positions in the Ghana National Office.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Application Programmer \u2013 Assistant Registrar II<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful apllicant will be required to perform the following duties among others:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop, support, maintain and test software applications.<\/li>\n<li>Design, develop and implement various business-related applications.<\/li>\n<li>Implement specific initiatives and projects.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure implementation of software applications.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement data migration and or data interface processes.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and debug applications.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate existing applications to re-programme, update and add new features.<\/li>\n<li>Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants must hold a good First Degree in Computer Science or a related field of study from a recognized University (Minimum, Second Class Lower).
