{"id":36749,"date":"2019-03-08T10:47:22","date_gmt":"2019-03-08T10:47:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=36749"},"modified":"2019-03-08T10:47:22","modified_gmt":"2019-03-08T10:47:22","slug":"vodafone-ghana-jobs-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/vodafone-ghana-jobs-2019.html","title":{"rendered":"Vodafone Ghana Jobs 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating the safety and occupational health component of personnel, materials, equipment, and environments to achieve safety effectiveness for the company.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Health, Safety &amp; Wellbeing Specialist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key accountabilities and decision ownership<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing in preparing safety policies and procedures; provides support in implementing these policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>To advise and assist all business functions in planning, organising, controlling and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for work.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure there is risk assessments for all projects and operational activities and\u00a0\u00a0appropriate H&amp;S plans are available to control identified risks<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the administrative and governance activities of local H&amp;S team and ensure compliance with Group H&amp;S policy standards, processes and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for communication to all stakeholders regarding benefits, including employees, line managers and executives<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for managing and establishing sound collaborative relationships with all relevant service providers<\/li>\n<li>Responsible to facilitate and coordinate Health and Safety forums<\/li>\n<li>To research and introduce new Health and Safety initiatives and programmes<\/li>\n<li>Prepare safety performance reports for consideration by the Operating Company and as part of the Group reporting requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Independently audit the health and safety performance and monitor Suppliers\u2019 H&amp;S Management Systems<\/li>\n<li>Support the planning and implementation of Organisational health &amp; safety plans and management processes, and monitor performance against these<\/li>\n<li>Identify training needs of staff, conduct relevant training and liaise with managers to nominate staff for external training courses<\/li>\n<li>Enforce the adherence to existing incident reporting process and independently investigate incidents to determine root causes.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the interface with Governmental and Industry bodies over new and developing legislation, and advise the business accordingly. Facilitate departmental evaluation and impact analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Core competencies, knowledge and experience<\/p>\n<p>Job Knowledge:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Risk management<\/li>\n<li>Management information systems<\/li>\n<li>Corporate communications<\/li>\n<li>Change management<\/li>\n<li>Performance management<\/li>\n<li>Relationship building<\/li>\n<li>Service provider management<\/li>\n<li>High level of numeracy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Job Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 5 years applicable experience in HSW role<\/li>\n<li>Management experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Must have technical \/ professional qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A\u00a0\u00a0degree in Engineering, Sciences, Building Technology and related fields<\/li>\n<li>Minimum requirement in NEBOSH IGC,<\/li>\n<li>Added advantage is NEBOSH diploma<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001:2007<\/li>\n<li>Member of\u00a0\u00a0a professional H&amp;S body<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating the safety and occupational health component of personnel, materials, equipment, and environments to achieve safety effectiveness for the company.
