The Company is developing the Central Ashanti Gold Project near Ayanfuri in the Central Region of Ghana. The project has an expected mine life of 10 years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><em>Central Ashanti Gold Limited, which is currently developing a gold mine located near Ayanfuri, is inviting applications for the above position, from suitably qualified and experienced persons. The Company offers competitive remuneration packages commensurate with the candidates&#8217; qualifications and experience.<\/p>\n<p><\/em><strong>Brief details of position are as follows:<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>The position is based in the Company&#8217;s Ayanfuri Mine Site, reporting to the Financial Controller (Ghana). The purpose is to ensure accurate and timely processing of payrolls, and payment of salaries<\/p>\n<p><strong>The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure accurate calculation and timely payment of salaries to all employees of Central Ashanti Gold Limited and Sun\u00a0Gold Resources Limited<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate and timely payment of all employees superannuation\/pension fund contributions as applicable<\/li>\n<li>Provide relevant information to the Financial Controller (Ghana) to enable all payroll taxes, levies, and charges to be accurately calculated<\/li>\n<li>Ensure employees&#8217; details, and balances of cash advances and\/or loans are accurately maintained in both the payroll master file and the General Ledger<\/li>\n<li>Administer and reconcile staff loan\/advances schedules<\/li>\n<li>Respond to all payroll enquiries raised promptly and efficiently<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Fully qualified or part-qualification of a professional accounting body<\/li>\n<li>A university degree or its equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable experience working for at least three years working experience in payroll<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of Pronto software will be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Effective English communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Interested qualified applicants should submit one MSWord document only which includes a cover letter, detailed CV of his\/her qualifications and work history, and the names of at least 3 contactable referees.
