Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0Ghana Controller<\/strong><\/p>\n Manages all accounting practices for the plant; conducts the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and forecast processes for the plant. Qualifications Education, Licenses, Certifications<\/b><\/p>\n College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required. \nWorks with the BU Controller to apply consistent accounting practices to the plant, participates in the business as a member of the plant leadership team.
\nManages the monthly and quarterly financial reporting process for the plant, including general ledger and subsidiary financial ledgers.
\nProvides appropriate resources for internal and external financial and process audits.
\nImplements recommended changes to accounting practices.
\nCoordinates financial modeling of quotation packages.
\nDevelops and presents reports and analyses to the Plant Manager.
\nLeads efforts to comply with any governmental or regulatory organization financial requirements of the plant.
\nLeads the capital management process at the plant level.
\nProvides business support for the plant in terms of product costing, accounts receivable, inventory control and payroll.
\nCoaches and mentors all plant general accounting, cost accounting, and finance staff; assigns work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports.<\/p>\n
