\n\u2022 Provide technical support for the development and implementation of department business \/ marketing plans
\n\u2022 Advise management on media communications strategy, and stakeholder relations management
\n\u2022 Coordinate media interest to ensure regular contact with target media and promote appropriate response to media requests
\n\u2022 Oversee internal and external communications via written, printed and electronic mechaism in order to effectively disseminate the Associations advocacy issues
\n\u2022 Maintain and update records, library and archives of publicity materials generated by the association or by external institutions and agencies affecting businesses
\n\u2022 Data gathering, analyses and dissemination as well as publication of information on social, economic and political issues that impact on business
\n\u2022 Representation of the Association at various forums and meetings as well as engagement with policy makers on common issues that borders on growth and development of businesses
\n\u2022 Undertake research to support GEA policy development and advocacy issues and regular reporting and publication of research findings
\n\u2022 Undertake Economics and labour market analysis to inform member companies about economic trends such as consumer Price index, interest rate and any other economic activities that impact on businesses
\n\u2022 Develop and publish position papers quarterly to support evidence-based advocacy issue of the Association
\n\u2022 Undertake any other research and data analysis that may be assigned by GEA<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Must have excellent communication and inter personal skills
\n\u2022 Must be computer literate
\n\u2022 Willingness to travel at short notice<\/p>\n
