The United States Government, represented by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Missiion to West Africa based in Accra, Ghana seeks applications from qualified resident US citizens interested in providing personal services contract (PSC) services as Regional PEPFAR Coordinator for USAID\/West Africa.<\/p>\n

Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0Regional PEPFAR Coordinator\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 An advanced Degree (master\u2019s or higher) in a relevant professional discipline, such as Public Policy, Public Health, Medicine, Business Administration or related subject, is required<\/p>\n Prior Work Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At least 8 years of progressively senior level experience managing HIV\/AIDs, health or other development programmes, preferably in a developing country context with at least 5 of the 8 years in managing and implementing HIV\/AIDs programmes or working with large, complex international or domestic programmes. At least 2 years experience supervising and managing staff, must demonstrate experience operating in his\/her non-native cultural environment, strong knowledge and understanding of PEPFAR policies and programming parameters. \n\u2022 Actual experience managing PEPFAR or relevant public health programme, extensive knowledge of the technical issues related to HIV\/AIDs, including knowledge of the principles of monitoring and evaluation.
\n\u2022 Demonstrated experience managing complex programmes with cooperation among multiple US Government agencies with sometimes competing priorities and demands<\/p>\n
