{"id":37790,"date":"2019-03-21T18:22:41","date_gmt":"2019-03-21T18:22:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=37790"},"modified":"2019-03-21T18:22:41","modified_gmt":"2019-03-21T18:22:41","slug":"siemens-plc-jobs-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/siemens-plc-jobs-2019.html","title":{"rendered":"Siemens PLC Jobs 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Consults with customers on technical solutions, together with Sales Manager or Key Account Manager.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Project Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clarifies customers\u00b4 targets and requirements, and\/or specification in request for proposal (RFP).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepares participation in tender, and leads negotiation with customers.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates overall planning of the project and decides on allocation of resources.<\/li>\n<li>Clarifies specification and continuously liaise with accountable Project Manager Internal.<\/li>\n<li>Monitors milestone and adherence to budgets, and initiates actions to minimize nonconformance cost.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains constant communication with customers, outside contractors or other stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>May coordinate agreed commissioning measures onsite, together with Site Engineering Management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Adheres to PM standards and Business Conduct Guidelines (e.g. Tax regulations, Export Control, EHS).<\/li>\n<li>Manages and coordinates all temporarily assigned project staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><strong>Key Competences\/Experience:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Executing the project within the defined requirements (cost, time, and quality).<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring business success and satisfaction of the customer.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring professional stakeholder management.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring timely decisions on open issues, escalating if necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Performing outage planning and obtaining customer confirmation<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring resource planning and availability including spare parts and manpower<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that project status and progress are effectively communicated to customer and Siemens management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Serves as the single point of contact to the customer and coordinates communication between Siemens internal functions and Product Competence Centers involved in the project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Manages and negotiates VO\u2019s and other changes to the contract within the scope of work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures that project risks are identified and managed throughout the entire life cycle of the project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintains master issue list and lesson learnt document<\/li>\n<li>Adheres to PM standards and Business Conduct Guidelines (e.g. Tax regulations, Export Control, EHS).<\/li>\n<li>Previous working experience in aftermarket service of rotating equipment (turbines, compressors) and product knowledge will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><strong>Qualification \/Skills:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum Bachelors Degree or HND in Engineering or Sciences<\/li>\n<li>5-7 years PM experience in Oil &amp; Gas Industry. Must be able to support Operations and Sales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Must demonstrate good understanding of project management fundamentals techniques and standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Preferable with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification for external candidates or\u00a0PM@siemens\u00a0C-project certification for internal candidates.\u00a0Successfully pass Siemens PM Knowledge Test Have either valid PMP license or must attain license within six months of employment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Good understanding of installation &amp; commissioning processes<\/li>\n<li>Good leadership ability within a matrix team environment<\/li>\n<li>PC skills with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, project scheduling with MS project and\/or Primavera<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Good presentation and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with international customers and vendors and ability to interact with various internal and external stakeholders of diversified cultural mix<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be results-oriented and able to work with energy and enthusiasm under time pressure, having ownership culture mindset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>General knowledge of Rotating Equipment (Turbines, Compressors) will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Self motivated with embedded ownership culture<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Capable and willing to meet greater than 50% local and international travel requirements<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Consults with customers on technical solutions, together with Sales Manager or Key Account Manager.
