{"id":37792,"date":"2019-03-21T18:28:59","date_gmt":"2019-03-21T18:28:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=37792"},"modified":"2019-03-21T18:28:59","modified_gmt":"2019-03-21T18:28:59","slug":"march-jobs-at-mtn-ghana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/march-jobs-at-mtn-ghana.html","title":{"rendered":"March Jobs At MTN Ghana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Responsible for performing Account Payables and Receivables activities in the Mobile Financial Services Entity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Accountant, Mobile Money Accounts Payable &amp; Accounts Receivable &amp; Payroll\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reconciliation of Mobile Money Airtime revenue and Fees in EBS<\/li>\n<li>Segregation of Mobile Money \u00a0fees into different revenue\u00a0 lines for monthly reporting<\/li>\n<li>Segregation of Mobile Money Commissions \u00a0into different cost lines for monthly reporting in accordance with relevant standards<\/li>\n<li>Prepare\u00a0 debit note weekly\u00a0 for all Mobile Money EVD Airtime and its tax computation for revenue recognition<\/li>\n<li>Prepare\u00a0 debit notes weekly\u00a0 for all EVD Data Bundle\u00a0and its tax computation for revenue recognition<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Credit note for Mobile Money fees and Airtime<\/li>\n<li>Process all Mobile Money related payments<\/li>\n<li>Raise monthly provision for cash in commission and Ericson revenue share<\/li>\n<li>Prepare JVs for the Cash-in-Commission and Ericson revenue share<\/li>\n<li>Dashboard to monitor daily liquidations from Finance Mobile Money team<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation of the GL and subsidiary accounts with the TB<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation of the Mobile Money \u00a0Revenue and the Commission accounts<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation of revenue with the MFS and Revenue Assurance<\/li>\n<li>Analysis of the mobile money aging balances for collection<\/li>\n<li>Issue of Invoice to Mobile Money customers<\/li>\n<li>Advise SSH on all Mobile Money liquidations and payments bookings and matching<\/li>\n<li>Advise SSH on all other Mobile Money related transactions<\/li>\n<li>Preparation, Review and Submission of all\u00a0 Mobile Money Withholding Tax Returns<\/li>\n<li>Preparation, Review and Submission of Mobile Money\u00a0 PAYE for employees<\/li>\n<li>Computation and Submission of Company Income Tax for Mobile Money Ltd<\/li>\n<li>Compute Tax liability\/refund as required for applicable taxes for the Mobile Money Ltd<\/li>\n<li>Provide inputs to Senior Tax Specialist (as required) to assist in quarterly forecasts for tax payouts, budgeting provisional tax liability based on approved tax forecasts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Context:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dynamic and highly competitive telecommunication &amp; ICT industry<\/li>\n<li>Highly regulated environment<\/li>\n<li>Performance driven environment<\/li>\n<li>Diverse cultural environment<\/li>\n<li>Group best practices &amp; standards alignment<\/li>\n<li>Regionalization structure implication<\/li>\n<li>Supply market demographics<\/li>\n<li>Opco specific restrictions on local content<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Degree in Accounting\/Finance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>3 years relevant experience in related field.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Professional\/Technical competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Degree in Accounting\/Finance<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of ERP (Oracle preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Telecom Finance function<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NB: The Incumbent must maintain strict confidentiality at all times<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Responsible for performing Account Payables and Receivables activities in the Mobile Financial Services Entity.
