\n\u2022 Undertakes field inspections of operations of employers and service providers on pensions and other related activities
\n\u2022 Prepares draft reports on field inspections of service providers
\n\u2022 Undertakes preliminary review of the reports submitted by service providers
\n\u2022 Undertakes the preliminary investigation of complaints of impropriety in the management of pension schemes
\n\u2022 Monitors the implementation of sanctions for non-compliance
\n\u2022 Undertakes the monitoring of ICT requirements for service providers in the pensions industry
\n\u2022 Facilitates the conduct of training and education of service providers, employers and other stakeholders
\n\u2022 Supervises the collection of data for the development and maintenance of a comprehensive database on standards and compliance activities
\n\u2022 Supervises the collection of data for the preparation of budget of the unit<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Membership of relevant professional body will be an added advantage
\n\u2022 A minimum of 1 year post qualification relevant work experience in a reputable institution
\n\u2022 Must pass a competitive selection interview conducted by the NPRA in collaboration with the public services commission<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
\n\u2022 Capacity to inspire and motivate
\n\u2022 Good knowledge and experience in standards and compliance on pensions matters
\n\u2022 Knowledge in financial management, procurement, budgeting and auditing regulations
\n\u2022 Knowledge of relevant IT applications
\n\u2022 Knowledge in project management<\/p>\n
