{"id":37881,"date":"2019-03-26T19:55:20","date_gmt":"2019-03-26T19:55:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=37881"},"modified":"2019-03-26T20:06:16","modified_gmt":"2019-03-26T20:06:16","slug":"miro-forestry-ghana-2019-vacancies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/miro-forestry-ghana-2019-vacancies.html","title":{"rendered":"MIRO Forestry Ghana 2019 Vacancies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Title: \u00a0<\/strong>Log yard Supervisor<strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports to: \u00a0<\/strong>Industrial Manager \/log yard officer<\/p>\n<p><strong>Direct Subordinates: \u00a0<\/strong>Veneer mill staff<\/p>\n<p><strong>WORKING RELATIONSHIPS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Internal:\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>Technical Manager, Heads of Departments and company employees<strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>External: \u00a0<\/strong>Consultants and service providers<strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Purpose of Appointment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To supply the logs according the target and maintain the log yard.<\/li>\n<li>Achieve the target according to machine capacity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Functions of Appointment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain all stock of log yard according to the target.<\/li>\n<li>Able to maintain all records of Log yard according to schedule and coordinate with log yard officer and production team.<\/li>\n<li>Housekeeping of log yard.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting of problems and incidents concerning logs size quantity and chain saw operators to log yard officer\/ Industrial manager\/Production manager\/General manager.<\/li>\n<li>Safety of machine staff and safe working conditions.<\/li>\n<li>In absence of log yard officer able to coordinate with harvesting team and production team.<\/li>\n<li>Able to work in Day and night shift .<\/li>\n<li>Able to maintain all records manually as well as in computer.<\/li>\n<li>Computer skills (Excel, ms office)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>JOB HOLDER SPECIFICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Formal Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical Qualification.
