Maintain a positive, loving environment in the classroom that motivates children to learn and to love school.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Primary School Teacher<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Impart Christian values and moral education to children and promote good behavior and discipline in the classroom and impart an appreciation and respect for diversity in the world.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Main Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and deliver lesson plans and\u00a0 fun activities<\/li>\n<li>Identify, develop, and use educational materials and resources in creative ways that accelerate learning on core subjects.<\/li>\n<li>Learn and develop strong expertise in the Abeka Curriculum<\/li>\n<li>Communicate regularly with parents and maintain and enhance an effective partnership with parents<\/li>\n<li>Monitor children\u2019s progress and educational attainment<\/li>\n<li>Prepare homework for the children and mark\/grade their work.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise children whether individually or in groups, to ensure their health and safety on or outside the school premises.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and administer test to assess children\u2019s learning.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare\u00a0 mid-term and end of year progress reports.<\/li>\n<li>Work together with team of teachers to achieve learning objectives of the school.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings, Staff Meetings etc.<\/li>\n<li>Support and encourage pupils and staff in a wide range of extra curricular activities and study support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge and experience in Abeka Curriculum preferred<\/li>\n<li>At least 3 years primary school teaching experience<\/li>\n<li>Must be a Christian<\/li>\n<li>A Love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to speak, read, and write English.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and instructional skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to act as mediator between children<\/li>\n<li>Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable<\/li>\n<li>Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen<\/li>\n<li>BSc\/BA in education or relevant field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Send Application &amp; CV via email to<strong>\u00a0onehear5508835@gmail.com<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To deliver the curriculum of the class assigned &amp; teach children on key subjects of Math, Language Arts(Reading, Writing), Science, Social Studies, Bible.
