{"id":3794,"date":"2011-06-02T07:52:01","date_gmt":"2011-06-02T07:52:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=3794"},"modified":"2013-12-26T16:17:31","modified_gmt":"2013-12-26T16:17:31","slug":"nurses-midwives-council-of-ghana-jobs-human-resource-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/nurses-midwives-council-of-ghana-jobs-human-resource-manager.html","title":{"rendered":"Nurses &#038; Midwives Council Of Ghana Jobs: Human Resource Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>Responsible to: <\/strong>Registrar\/Chief Executive Officer<br \/>\n<strong>Accountable to:<\/strong> Registrar\/Chief Executive Officer<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose:<br \/>\n<\/strong>To provide technical support in the recruitment, motivation and retention of Human of Human Resources in the organisation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the Registrar\/Chief Executive officer in the management of staff of the Council by providing advice and expertise on human resource issues<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate recruitment, selection, retention and exit processes to ensure that the Council has the quantity and quality of staff necessary to achieve its strategic goals<\/li>\n<li>Assist to design appropriate Human\u00a0Resource Policies, implement and monitor such policies<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate the preparation of annual plans and budgets to help achieve the HRM objectives of the Council<\/li>\n<li>Assist to develop employee relations programmes (e.g. Awards and recognition events) that promote a positive organisational behaviour<\/li>\n<li>Assist to develop, administer and evaluate grievance\/dispute resolution and performance improvement policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Participate in collective bargaining activities including contract negotiation and administration<\/li>\n<li>Any other relevant duty that may be assigned by the Registrar\/Chief Executive Officer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience<\/li>\n<li>Two (2) years experience in management position<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy in MS Word, Power Point and Access<\/li>\n<li>Very good writing and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate experience in human resource administration<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership, management and supervision skills<\/li>\n<li>Strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to continuously seek quality service and process improvements in order to support the vision and mission of the Council<\/li>\n<li>Team player<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate flexibility and a methodological approach to work<\/li>\n<li>Ability to take initiative and to influence others positively<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Interested applicants should address their CVs including the names of two referees to:<\/p>\n<div><strong>THE REGISTRAR\/CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER<br \/>\nNURSES AND MIDWIVES COUNCIL OF GHANA<br \/>\nP.
