The role will provide support to the Finance teams in the relevant reporting cycles<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Payroll Specialist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Payroll Specialist has the following main accountabilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To process accurate and timely payroll for country remittance of data to bank through accounts payable<\/li>\n<li>Executes payroll accounting and reconciliation<\/li>\n<li>Delivers payroll services by managing payroll personnel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Generates monthly reports and SLAs for payroll<\/li>\n<li>Monitors payroll processes to meet legal compliance and COBP requirements<\/li>\n<li>Provides payroll KPIs reports and data as required<\/li>\n<li>Manages processing of statutory deductions and remittance of data to finance for payments to institutions and retirees<\/li>\n<li>Participates in pension cycle briefs \u2013 support preparations for pension annual general meetings and cascades to country<\/li>\n<li>To input to payroll systems against new reward cycle, new collective Bargaining agreement, Time and Attendance data \/ payment related calculations for payroll accuracy<\/li>\n<li>To process statutory deductions report and remit to finance for pay-outs i.e. tax, National Social Security, Pension, Co-operatives, etc<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly payroll Service Level Agreement reporting (CSR)<\/li>\n<li>Leads payroll projects and process improvement initiatives i.e. liaison with IT &amp; 3P<\/li>\n<li>Prepares annual reports and manage end year processes e.g. taxation, write-off,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Ensure implementation of payroll project, process change\/improvement, adjustments etc<\/li>\n<li>Provides ad-hoc data and supplementary reports as required from time to time<\/li>\n<li>Reward and payroll related communication i.e. schedules, guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Manages customer expectations and payroll queries \u2013 issues, problems escalated by helpdesk officer \/ WFA assistants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The overall purpose of this role is to manage, supervise and deliver the country payroll within the given timelines.
