{"id":38088,"date":"2019-04-02T09:57:28","date_gmt":"2019-04-02T09:57:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=38088"},"modified":"2019-04-02T09:57:28","modified_gmt":"2019-04-02T09:57:28","slug":"private-firm-vacancies-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/private-firm-vacancies-2019.html","title":{"rendered":"Private Firm Vacancies 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Responsible for assisting with the collection, collation and analyses of data to inform strategies and policies as well as providing operational support for the day-to-day implementation and monitoring of business transformation activities including governance, financials, risk and compliance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Investment Analyst<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with the implementation of business transformation, performance monitoring and reporting, systems and processes to provide timely financial and operational information for decision making for the investment holding company<\/li>\n<li>Analyse and provide relevant information for the development and implementation of strategies for portfolio companies to increase revenue, improve operations, strengthen financial controls, and increase shareholder value<\/li>\n<li>Conduct market research and provide insights on market activities and trends to inform operational and strategic plans<\/li>\n<li>Conduct business and financial analysis to provide information for decision-making by executive management and the Board of Directors<\/li>\n<li>Provide assistance for performance monitoring of the portfolio companies to inform the development of business transformation strategies for continuous growth, improvement and realization of value-for-money<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the preparation of stakeholder communications and reports<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate operational efforts for the investment holding company and the portfolio companies including performance improvement systems, processes and activities in line with management directives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Superior interpersonal and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong research abilities<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of corporate governance, risk and compliance issues<\/li>\n<li>Ability to develop and implement strategies, policies and structures<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of financial markets, financial management systems and financial services industry requirements<\/li>\n<li>Well-defined and highly developed analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use data and analytics\/business financial modelling tools<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of regulatory and operational requirements<\/li>\n<li>Negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to write clear, concise and compelling reports for senior stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Excellent competencies in computers and Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well individually and with teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification and experience<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in a business or related field (e.g. Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science) from reputable institutions<\/li>\n<li>Relevant professional qualification or progress towards such ( e.g. Chartered Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst)<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of two (2) years of analysis experience in a private equity firm, or<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of five (5) years of analysis experience in industry or public sector.
