\nDepartment: Finance
\nResponsibilities
\nThe Finance Officer will be responsible for providing support to the Finance Manager in ensuring accurate and timely completion of all Financial and Accounting tasks; including statutory reporting and also in compliance with all Accounting standards, policies and procedures, legal\/statutory and Company regulations.
\nOther job functions are:
\nCustomer invoicing.
\nVendor management.
\nFixed asset management.
\nAccount receivable management.
\nPreparation and filing of statutory returns.
\nReconcile accounts payable and receivable.
\nPreparation and recording of accounting entries.
\nEnsure the integrity of the general ledger postings.
\nHandling of month end activities i.e. accruals etc.
\nMaintain regular contact with all stakeholders.
\nLiaise with the bank for all Company transactions, as assigned.
\nConfirm authorizations for all requests and obtain necessary supporting documents.
\nIdentify and update Supervisor of significant problems, discrepancies, risks etc.
\nOther duties consistent with the role as assigned from time-to-time.
\nRequired Skills or Experience<\/p>\n
\nICA\/ACCA Qualification is an added advantage.
\nMinimum of 4 years experience in handling Accounting and Finance functions.
\nAdequate Knowledge in IFRS.
\nMust understand Tax laws.
\nKnowledge of Finance, Accounting, Budgeting, and Cost control.
\nKnowledge of Financial and Accounting software application especially Microsoft Dynamics 365.
\nProficiency in MS Office Applications.
\nCandidate must be resident in Ghana.
