DKT operates 24 programs in 25 countries worldwide.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Intern \u2013 Logistics Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary<\/strong><br \/>\nPrimarily an administrative position, the Logistics Officer is ensures the smooth functioning of all Logistics operational activities under the supervision of the Logistics Manager.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the receiving and dispatching of commodities<\/li>\n<li>Track inventory of all supplies and maintain notes of any damaged commodities by tallying imports, taking physical counts of the goods and preparing detailed documentation;<\/li>\n<li>Follow proper documentation and safety procedures of all warehouse functions;<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and oversee the organizing, stacking and storage of commodities by warehouse loaders and cleaners;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with transporters and suppliers for the dispatch of commodities to all regional warehouses<\/li>\n<li>Receiving incoming commodities from the freight forwarders into the Central warehouse.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring safe and secured housekeeping and maintaining accurate records of inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Determine and maintain the appropriate storage conditions at Central Warehouse in accordance with GFDA and Pharmacovigilance requirement as well as WHO warehousing policies<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining proper stacking of inventory commodities in accordance to Conducting and reconciliation of weekly stock Checks to physical stock balances and reporting any variance to the Logistics Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Timely report on commodity distribution as well as commodity expiry status by close of every month.<\/li>\n<li>Recording of batch number identification on all stock transactional documents<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining adequate paper trail of all warehouse records.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting Finance team in regular inventory audit.<\/li>\n<li>Planning scheduled service delivery timetables to all Territory Managers.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring stock levels at all regional warehouses.<\/li>\n<li>Perform all duties assigned by the Logistics Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma or related qualification in supply chain, warehouse management and inventory;<\/li>\n<li>Should have excellent organizational skills;<\/li>\n<li>Good written and verbal communication skills;<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to efficiently manage time and meet deadlines;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure;<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with NGOs preferred, but not required;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interested persons should send their application and CVs to\u00a0<strong>hr@dktghana.org<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Please indicate your region of preference in your email heading.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DKT International Inc. is a non-profit organization whose core mission is the provision of safe and affordable options for family planning and HIV\/AIDS prevention.
