The underground mining operation will be fully mechanized, designed to produce up to an average maximum of 5,000 t\/day of ore mined.<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated person to join our dedicated team as<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Construction Miner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">The purpose of the role is for the holder to safely follow all procedures to carry out maintenance and installations of underground infrastructures.<\/p>\n<p><b>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure Workplace safety \u2013 Conduct all constructional works in a safe and conducive atmosphere to promote good health, safety and higher productivity<\/li>\n<li>Build good relationship and engagement practices\u00a0 with team members \u2013 Contribute to work discussions with team members, during infrastructural dismantling, restoration works and all constructional works to promote safe and speedy\u00a0 processes<\/li>\n<li>Infrastructure Installations \u2013 Construct bulkhead and fan walls in accordance with standards to eliminate wall failure and property damages<\/li>\n<li>Practice good housekeeping \u2013 Ensure that all equipment, and constructional sites are well kept<\/li>\n<li>Material management \u2013 Ensure that all materials are shrewdly used in order to reduce cost<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic Education<\/li>\n<li>Certificate of Masonry\/Carpentry from a recognized institution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 years\u2019 experience in Construction and Maintenance of infrastructures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested Ghanaians with the above qualification and experience should submit their applications, with detailed CV.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CLOSING DATE: 21 APRIL, 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AngloGold Ashanti (Ghana) Limited is currently on a journey to redevelop the Obuasi Gold Mine into a modern, efficient and long-term profitable operation.
